Retreat Theme
The theme of this year's retreat will be "Walking in the LIGHT." The Bible is full of references to light. It tells us that God is the light of life, His word gives light to our understanding, and Jesus is the Light of the World. 1 Peter 2:9 says that we, as Christians, have been called out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 John 1:7 says that walking in His light purifies us from sin and enables us to fellowship with one another. Therefore, our lives, as women redeemed by Christ, should be

KARA WILLIAMS
Kara has been married to her husband, Caleb, for 26 years and is the
mother of five children, ages 12-21, including two through the miracle of adoption. She and her family live on eight acres, raising cows, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, turkeys, and a large garden. One of her great joys is learning about God through His Word and His world and sharing her discoveries through writing and speaking. She enjoys finding beauty in the commonplace, her classics book club, walking her country road, learning old-fashioned skills, and traveling all over the world with her family.
Cost of Retreat

Friday —Check in at 4:00 p.m. in the Main Lodge Dining Area to get a welcome gift and name tag, and check in to your room at either the Main Lodge or the Heritage House (adjacent to each other).
Rooms are available on a 'first come, first serve' basis. If you need a special accommodation for a lower bed please let Adela Waldie know in advance ([email protected])
Please let us know which cabin and room you have chosen upon your arrival. Parking is available in these highlighted areas.
Dinner will be served in the Main Lodge Dining Area at 5:30 pm. The meeting room will be at the Rotunda (a very short walk from the cabins). Session 1 starts at 7 pm.
