Home Group is... a place where you belong--in a church you need a place where “everyone knows your name.” In a Home Group you can really get to know one other, care about one another, pray for one another and celebrate with one another.
a place where you can learn God’s Word--discipleship doesn’t take place in isolation. A Home Group not only provides a place of study and interaction around the Word of God, it also provides a place where ideas can be shared about how to live out and apply the truths found in the Bible. Being in a God-centered group is a key to spiritual growth.
a place you can contribute--as part of Christ’s body, you have something to contribute to others. You can make a difference in lives through your unique gifts, your personal concern, your Spirit-led input and your prayers for one another. Also, as a part of the Home Group ministry, group leaders are being developed for the ongoing expansion of the ministry.
a place you can reach out--an authentic community of caring believers can share Christ in a way that an individual never could. Whether through inviting others to the group, encouraging personal witness, or actively reaching out to others, an active Home Group can have a powerful witness.
Home Groups at West Hills Community Church meet from October through May, and provide a great place to be encouraged in your relationship with God!
